ODM Procedure
Stage 1: Planning and Consultation
Communicate Brand Needs: Target customers, product concept (e.g., whitening, moisturizing), key ingredients, and price range.
Proposal: The ODM manufacturer presents proposals aligned with market trends and existing standard formulations.
Step 2: Formulation Development and Sampling (R&D & Sampling)
Sample Production: Samples are manufactured in the laboratory according to the requested concept.
Feedback and Revision: After testing spreadability, scent, color, etc., multiple revisions are made until satisfaction is achieved.
Step 3: Contract and Packaging Confirmation (Contract & Packaging)
Main Contract: Finalize the sample and quotation, then sign the contract.
Container/Packaging: Finalize the container (the product’s “clothing”) and outer box design. (ODM companies also support design agency services or connecting with partner companies.)
Step 4: Stability and Efficacy Testing (Testing)
Quality Testing: Conduct tests for degradation due to temperature changes, container suitability, etc.
Certification & Approval: Complete necessary procedures such as functional cosmetics review (MFDS), vegan certification, and skin irritation testing.
Step 5: Main Production & Delivery
Manufacturing & Filling: Mass-produce using the finalized recipe, then fill containers and package.
Quality Control (QC): After completing final microbial testing, ship finished products to the warehouse.
